Karen O & Danger Mouse - Woman
New track posted today!
So back a few months ago Karen O (Lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and Danger Mouse (World famous Producer, you may know him for the 'Gnarls Barkley' tune 'Crazy' (Remember that?)) announced they were working on new music together. See above the second track they've released so far, Woman is a sixties infused marching band of a track, I'm picking up similar vibes to the production Danger Mouse created for Beck's album 'Modern Guilt' on this one.
I like this very much and am looking forward to hearing a full release from these two (whenever that might be). However their first track entitled 'Lux Prima' just beats out this one for me. Lux Prima is pretty much a Pink Floyd sandwich with a blended Portishead and Air filling. And I love it.
